Gail Ader, M.Ed, Director:  

Gail  began her career in early childhood in 2000 as a preschool teacher. She went on to become a Massachusetts licensed public school teacher and taught grades 1-2 for three years. Her first role as a preschool director was at Cornerstone from 2004-2012. During that time, she received her Master's in Early Childhood Education at UMass Boston.

Gail left Cornerstone in 2012 and went on to serve as Director at Braintree After School Enrichment (B.A.S.E.),  Head Start in Boston and, most recently the Sharon Cooperative School and the Sharon Nature Schools. She is thrilled to return to Cornerstone and continue the program under the governance of the nonprofit Fieldstone Early Learning, which she founded in 2024.

Kendra Jackson, Co-Lead Teacher, Preschool 1:  

Mrs. Jackson, a certified Preschool Lead Teacher,  joined the Cornerstone Campus staff in 2004 and has worked with every age group in the school. Prior to joining us, she worked at the Dorchester House after-school program for several years. Mrs. Jackson has played a key role in helping countless preschoolers adapt to a school environment and find their place in the classroom. She and her husband Peter are the proud parents of three children, one of whom is a Cornerstone alum and our expecting their second grandchild in December.

Debbie Manton, Co-Teacher, Preschool 1:  

Mrs. Manton, a certified Preschool Teacher,  began teaching at Cornerstone in 2005. Prior to joining our staff, she worked as an in-home childcare provider and an activity leader at the South Shore YMCA. Working with 3-year olds is a perfect match for her boundless energy and enthusiasm. She and her husband Joe are the proud parents of 5 children,  one of who is a Cornerstone alum.

Kathy O’Leary, Lead Teacher, Preschool 2:

Mrs. O’Leary joined Cornerstone Campus in 2005 when we expanded our 4-year old program. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Salem State College. Mrs. O'Leary's gentle nature and long experience teaching this age, results in a warm, supportive and educational classroom in which children thrive. Mrs. O'Leary and her husband Jim are the proud parents of four children, (three of whom are Cornerstone alumni).

Enrica Filippi, Lead Teacher, Preschool 3:

​Ms. Filippi is a certified Preschool Teacher who joined Cornerstone in 2024. She received her B.A. from Clark University with a concentration in Psychology. Her previous experience includes 5 years teaching at the Cambridge-Ellis School. Ms. Filippi brings many talents to our program: she is a certified Yoga instructor, talented artist  and a speaker of  Italian and Mandarin.

Kelly Hatfield and Susan Hankard , Lead Teacher, Preschool 4 : 

Mrs. Hatfield began teaching at Cornerstone in 2015. Mrs. Hatfield holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and brings a wealth of classroom experience including a background in a Montessori setting. Her enthusiasm, experience and infinite endless patience are the perfect ingredients for a fun, productive and orderly classroom. Mrs. Hatfield and her husband Neil are the proud parents of five children, all of whom are Cornerstone alumni. 

 

Mrs. Hankard has a B.A. in education from Framingham State College and entered the field of early childhood education in 1996. Prior to joining Cornerstone in 2024, she worked at Carriage House in Milton for many years, primarily as a PreK teacher. Her enthusiasm for working with young children has only increased over the years and she brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to each new class. Mrs. Hankard and her husband Billy are the proud parent of 4 children.

 

Llanos Cuenca Martinez, Teacher Assistant and Spanish Instructor:

Mrs. Cuenca Martinez, a native of Albacete Spain,  is a certified Infant/Toddler and Preschool Teacher and Kindergarten Aid who joined Cornerstone in 2024 as an in-house floater. She has been working in the field of education since 2001 in a variety of settings.  Her gentle manner and natural warmth  make her popular with all the students. With her husband Enrique, she is the proud parent of preschooler Axel, who attends Cornerstone.
