Enrollment Timeline for the 25-26 school year (If you are looking to place your child for the current 24-25 school year, we have limited openings in Preschool 3. Children must be 4 years old by August 31 to be eligible for Pre 3).

Through December 2024:

Prospective parents should call to add their name to the waiting list for the 2025-26 school year. The Director may close the waiting list once it reaches a certain limit.

January 2025:current students and their younger siblings (early enrollment). Early enrollment is offered to younger siblings whose older sibling(s) attended Cornerstone Campus within the last 3 years.  To participate in early enrollment of a younger sibling, parents must contact the school in the January prior to the September in which they would like their child to attend school.  
 

Late January 2025:

Director sends out email and postcard notification of our Open House to families for whom we have an opening.

If you chose to enroll your child at the Open House, you will need to fill out a Pre-Registration form and pay a non-refundable tuition deposit (1 installment) and $75 enrollment fee. This payment and form are all you will need to reserve your child's spot until the Tuition Agreement and second installment of tuition are due on August 1. You will receive a reminder letter about this payment in mid-July.

March - June 2025:

Typically all sessions will be filled for the following school year by May, but parents are welcome to stay on the waiting list in the event that an enrolled child is withdrawn.

Q. My name is on the waiting list and I just learned that the sessions are full for the 2024 - 2025 school year.  Will my name automatically be carried over to the 2025-2026 waiting list? 

A. No!  If you are interested in enrolling your child for the 2025-2026 school year, you must call the Director and specify that you would like your name to be carried over from the 2024-2025 waiting list.

Q. How do I add my child's name to the 2025-2026 waiting list? 

A. If you would like to join the waiting list for this upcoming year, please call the school and speak to the Director anytime.

Q. If  I send an email with my contact information can my child's name be added to the waiting list?

A. No!  Simply sending an email will not get your child on the waiting list. It is important to speak directly with the Director to learn more about your child and your expectations for their preschool experience. After that initial conversation, you are welcome to use email as your preferred method of communication with the school.

Q. Why am I placed on a waiting list if I have contacted the school a full year in advance?

A. Until we re-enroll current students and their younger siblings in January, we do not know how many openings will be available for new children. That is why we can only take names and contact information until February, when we are ready to begin enrollment of  new children.

Q. When do I get a chance to tour the school?

A.  To minimize disruptions to the classrooms, Cornerstone Campus has moved to an Open House event to allow parents to tour the school, learn about the program, meet our staff and other prospective families and speak with current Cornerstone parents. If, after this event, a family still feels it requires an individual tour, that can be arranged upon request to the Director.

Q. My child will turn 4 in the fall - do I enroll her in the 3-year old class or the 4-year old class?

A. Decisions regarding placement of children who are approaching 4 years of age when the school year begins are made on a case by case basis, taking into consideration availability, parent preference, child's personality and previous experiences in a group setting. We have no hard and fast rules, we just try to find the best fit for each child.
